In the third quarter of 2024, the top navigation and maps applications on the Android platform in Slovakia displayed varied performance in terms of downloads and user engagement, as reported by Sensor Tower.

Waze Navigation & Live Traffic maintained a steady download flow throughout the quarter, peaking at 3.5K in the week of July 22. However, a downward trend was observed towards the end of September with downloads dipping to 1.7K. Weekly active users fluctuated slightly, with numbers ranging from 32K at the start of July to just below 30K by the end of September.

Mapy.cz: maps & navigation saw its downloads peak at 3.2K in early August, followed by a decline to 1.8K by the end of September. The app's weekly active users showed a gradual decline from 9.6K to 8.7K over the quarter, indicating a slight drop in user engagement.

Sygic GPS Navigation & Maps started strong with a weekly revenue of about $4.6K in late July but experienced a gradual decline to $1.8K by the end of September. Downloads also decreased from 1.8K in late July to around 600 by the end of the period. Google Earth experienced relatively stable download numbers, hovering just below 900 for most of the quarter, with a slight dip to 658 in the last week of September. Weekly active users remained fairly consistent, ranging between 4.9K and 5.3K, showing steady engagement across the quarter.
